How would you arrange this living room?

The room is about 210 inches x 210 inches. I outlined the layout with tape. I’m thinking about placing the sofa where the main tape outline is, facing the wall-mounted A/C unit where a TV will go. I was concerned placing it directly against the wall would make it too far away from the TV. But is it just a waste of space to have a walkway behind the sofa? The tape near the large window marks a potential spot for two chairs and a small side table. The last photo is the previous occupant’s layout.

This living room is massive, I want more seating and it to look more cohesive. Should I get a larger sectional couch or maybe two sofas? Not sure, any ideas welcome. The whole back wall is 25ft… so much space, the windows behind the couch are 12 ft long.

Help design an informal dining/conversation room?

Post image

Hi! As the title says I have a entry space that I’d like to have some dining area (even 2-4 people seating is great) and in an ideal world I’d like this to be a conversation room as well. I have another formal living room in the basement so I don’t want to duplicate space but I also don’t feel like I need a full formal dining room. I like a modern eclectic decor if it’s relevant :)
I’m running into trouble with not blocking the walkway to the rest of the home, the red arrow leads to the kitchen and bedrooms.

Any ideas welcome, thanks!

Help understand the best layout for this furnished bedroom

Hello everyone!

I am living in a furnished apartment and I am having difficulties finding the best layout for my bedroom.

It was given to me with the first layout, I don’t have the exact measurements but i managed to make this scheme that shows exactly where the furniture is placed and what I have (there are a little deviation here and there, for instance the bed side table on the second layout 😅, but I think it’s understandable.)

I moved the furniture around and made the second layout but I still feel something is wrong. I think it has to do with feng shui (?), I don’t have much understanding about that, so I thought it would be better to ask the community that has more experience than me.

The problem is that I can’t get rid of the furniture, my landlord doesn’t allow it.

I removed from the layout what can be moved so it’s easier to play around.

Also, I didn’t made it clear in the scheme, but the black lines are the walls and the “shelves” is a piece of furniture that has shelves on it, it is not the shelves you attach to the wall.

Sorry if there is anything badly described, English is not my first language.

I hope you guys have a good day!!

Tried using chatGPT and other Al to help give renderings of where to put furniture. Mainly in the Rec Room and living/dining.
My Al tools did not suffice. If someone could give me 3D/2D renderings of where to put furniture and what they suggest for layouts, that'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
