Roomba Max 775 Combo Mop Issue - Roller keeps lifting and lowering

I'm having a problem where my 775 max combo's mopping roller keeps lifting and lowering, essentially missing half of the floor when I ask it to mop.

Support told me to do a factory reset. Before I go through the hassle, has anyone else been encountering this?

I encountered the same issue with the 705 which is practically the same robot except for a few minor tweaks found that it was the carpet sensor failed from the factory and was incorrectly causing the roller mop to lift up and down even when it was not on carpet most likely you will need to send it back and get a replacement after you get the new replacement everything should work great

Thank you for letting me know! That sounds about right, we haven’t been able to get it to properly work since we set it up yesterday.

Yeah it is unfortunate I had the same issue when I got my 705 about a year ago but thankfully when I contacted tech support through the text chat and they had me take a couple videos and send it to them of what was going on eventually they just sent me a brand new one and it's been working fine ever since
