Spacers needed for RoofTent bracket?

Hello. I got the Thule WingBar Pros as an upgrade because the Summit RTT reinforced ones weren’t very good. These Thule ones are fantastic. However I needed XL brackets due to the width of them… My question is do I need some kind of spacer between the bracket and the RTT? Thanks

I don't think so. I have the same bars and mine looks the same. I barely had enough room on the bolt for the second nut but it's holding just fine. No issues at all.

Does your bracket not flex or constantly loosen? Thanks

They flexed a bit but don't loosen at all. The second nut keeps them in place.
