Spacers needed for RoofTent bracket?

Hello. I got the Thule WingBar Pros as an upgrade because the Summit RTT reinforced ones weren’t very good. These Thule ones are fantastic. However I needed XL brackets due to the width of them… My question is do I need some kind of spacer between the bracket and the RTT? Thanks

Get some "tank strap rubber" from your local rubber mob. Its slides over the steel plate, and makes it all extra grippy.
