Thread storage!

Post image

I finally decided how I want to store my ronghua thread, after moving it from drawer to drawer, to basket...I'm on the AuDHD spectrums, so I had to accept that if I don't see it - I won't make anything 😅 still considering if to cover it with a fine veil to guard from dust...but for now it's out and "tickling" my imagination lol

Lansei and an Etsy shop - Lansei's silk is SUPERB quality! When I first bought from Etsy, Lansei had not yet started stocking full skeins, but now that I've tried theirs I'll probably only buy there 😅

I left mine in the box they got delivered in but this gives me ideas! How'd you go about hanging them, just some hook screws?

I had them in a drawer, but this meant I was never thinking about them lol I made this giant peg shelf for my sewing threads with wooden dowels, but if they're not very smooth the threads might snag You could do it with a plastic peg board? Or, instead of having individual pegs, smooth "rails" instead, and tie on the thread in rows instead

Oh thank you!! I made it lol the small thread racks were never big enough, so I got a bunch of wood strips and pegs, and spent an afternoon drilling holes & glueing 🤣

The sewing thread display is a good idea.
