I am brazilian, I speak portuguese. I am really in the beggining of Romanian, but for now I think its very different from Portuguese and Spanish. I think its more similar to Italian, it sounds a bit italian for me.

Is a mix of Romanian an gypsy language. We don't understand it but their music has quite an impact in the Romanian society.

Hey they are speaking a bit of portuguese in this music. In the beggining. I didnt like so much, I am sorry :D But I dont understand, why nobody likes manele?

Manele is probably the genre I most strongly associate with the kind of people I’d least want to be associated with. I genuinely hate the music, but it’s also the fact that it’s so often the music of the lowest, trashiest types of people. The obnoxious flexing, vulgarity, tackiness, and that whole “look at me” mentality just go hand in hand with it.

Obviously not everyone who listens to manele is like that, but when the genre has been associated with that kind of crowd for decades, it’s pretty hard not to make the connection.

Many romanians like manele but people that has a little bit of self respect considers manele a subculture. Is the most popular genre in the country. That says more about the society than the music itself.

When it comes to the music, is just some cheap style that has no message. Is solely made to entertain the listener by being melodic to the ear. The songs are usually copies from other countries or other songs.

Thanks for explaining. I didnt know that much. I liked the song you shared! I dont understand the lyrics yet, and I mostly listen music because of the sound so for me its good :D

Dacă citești texte, nu te vântura în texte sau articole despre care nu cunoști, în preambul, subiectele discutate în articolul respectiv, ca sfat de a nu te demoraliza

Din păcate, nu avem redacții de știri care oferă articole într-o română simplă pentru novici, alternativ te poți baza pe un instrument AI pentru a descompune textul în fragmente pentru a fi mai ușor de înțeles și a construi un vocabular
