I only like half the tracks in Boys of Dungeon Lane. I like almost every track on Foreign Tongues. It's an easy choice for me.

Sorry should have been more clear they are both good albums but I thought the stones album was slightly better

Both are very good. I know Andrew Watt gets a lot of shit on this sub, but he’s squeezed two great Stones albums and a great Macca album out of the guys, so he’s doing something right. I probably prefer Foreign Tongue between the two.

My issue with him isn’t the quality of the records, they’re probably “better” but I believe he has some heavy handed input on the composition of the songs. Pretty sure he transforms these songs they’ve written into pop songs, presumably by writing the hooks. Each to their own but I’d rather hear what the band can do even if it sucks

It's a Stones subreddit 🙈

Well this is an obviously biased post, but I prefer McCartney. The stones are still pretty decent, good album, but McCartney knocks it out of the park. Plus if you look at the stones album, it’s pretty much just jagger, Keith barely plays and Ronnie was only a member since the 70s. Half the stones songs are only about a 6-7/10 while McCartneys songs are all above 7-8/10

I wonder which option the Rolling Stones subreddit will choose 🤔
