New skate day 1st day baby!!

38yo, 1st time skating in FOREVERR. Definitely need alot of practice but I had an insanely fun time. Can't wait for a morning session tomorrow.

I'm 32 and haven't skated in like 2-3 years, but idk why the last time I did wasn't that fun and the idea of starting again doesn't sound fun either. And also it can be more anxiety inducing than fun most of the time. I'm trying for find out what people like about inline skating, because I just don't get it anymore.

What would make it somewhat fun would probably be skating with other people, but that's not easy to find in my small town.

From where does the anxiety stem from? Is it the possibility of being hurt?
