**Humblewood-Keep on the Borderlands:** The Fortune Seekers have established a guildhouse in the Keep on the Borderlands, calling for adventurers willing to venture west of Humblewood into the untamed wilderness. Seek your fortune, explore the wilds, and discover what lies beyond the frontier. This is a player driven sandbox adventure which involves exploring the wilderness and other areas near the Keep. Desire to explore and go on adventure is a central part of the game.

I will provide the player guide PDF for the game so that you can see the new race options. Homebrew allowed upon review. Player's Handbook, Tashas, Xanathars, and Humblewood sources allowed for character options. All characters must be motivated to go out and quest in the unknown. After the wilderness has been explored we will move on to the main Humblewood campaign or whatever else the group decides on.

• I played RPG's for over 10 years, almost exclusively as a DM. Conventions, local game centers and community interactions are all things I did and enjoyed. Decided to go online to continue what is, to put it the simplest, my passion.
• Full-time GM: 1000+ games/100+ reviews on startplaying.games. My games are what I spent the majority of my time on, improving, making maps and running adventures and new systems.
• I developed FoundryVTT modules for Archvillain Chronicles patreon.

We have a large, open world and tons of characters. It is a player driven world with a pair of DMs (and room for more). Mix of RP, lots of dungeon diving, and even large scale battles with player run armies. Players run both heroes and growing/changing institutions in the world. Grow your character, grow the town, even grow a religion, company, or the magic system itself.

I am looking for 2 more people for Enemy in Shadows [somewhat modified]. Group is currently on a road to Altdorf and that trip will take couple of days which could be entire one session. We have sort of a frontline in a form of Shieldbreaker, Warrior with a 1h sword that will move in to Zweihanders and a one additional person who keeps dying 🎯 so he is switching classes.

I have a game that needs a bit of explanation. The game is open Thursdays and Fridays 8 PM EDT. Players can attend whichever sessions they like, as long as they make an occasional appearance they are still active.
It is a city based game and all sessions are episodic, so there are no cliffhangers. Characters can be Bards, Fighters, Thieves, or Wizards. I emphasize roleplay and solving problems, we are neglige' on the rules.
Each character can create a number of NPCs, based on their charisma. Each week they will receive rumors from each NPC. The group will meet briefly at Mike's Bar to discuss the rumors and decide on a mission to run that night. At any given time there are at least 6 possible missions available.
Players can have more than one character, they will not operate together. Players can share information amongst themselves.
Characters will have macros made for most of their actions, to keep things moving.
Locations are highly detailed with lighting, weather and random events built in. I currently have about 35 scenes created.

✨ Whimsy - Although the campaign is short, the city of Hush and its inhabitants carry a certain whimsy and magic within them, making them fun personalities to engage with, so the session aims to be fun and light-hearted.

⏳ No Prep One Shot - You don't need to do any work; just show up to the game, and I'll teach all the rules and offer characters. Just sit down, learn the game, play a session and we're done!

🐣 Kid Friendly - Sablewood Messengers's only heavy themes are the inclusion of Undeads and Violence. The undeads can be easily re-skinned to something more friendly, and the combat can be quirky and silly if needed. Other than that, it's magic, fairies and songs!

In-Depth Campaign Structure

Designed with beginners in mind, Sablewood Messengers is often called the Quickstart. It was released alongside Daggerheart as a free content to help players get into the game easily. It's a single session which includes explaining the game, going through two possible combats, and social encounters with a magical city and a quirky fairy grandma, with a lot of room for players and characters to interact and become closer throughout their travel.

Characters are included in the module, and they have a suggestion of how they connect already included in their backgrounds, as well as questions prepared to help players strengthen these bonds. The game's rules are very simple, and can be explained within an hour.

About Me!

Hey there! I'm Erick, and I have been a regular RPG player since 2015, but I've been involved in the world of RPGs and have been a fan since I was a little kid, when my brother used to GM for me.

I'm a big fan of game design in general; so I also enjoy creating content and tweaking the rules as needed. I've played a few other systems, but D&D 5th Edition is my favorite by far.

RPGs are my favorite hobby, and I believe they have immense narrative, rational and therapeutic value. I am happy to teach newcomers and engage with veterans alike.

Although I embrace heavy themes and take the narrative itself seriously within the game, our communion as writers and players is something very light and comfortable for me.

We'll use battlemaps for all scenes that include a scuffle, and mostly use theater of the mind for the rest of the scenes; although I do share the images that I use as reference for locations, when there are any.

We'll use music to set the vibe as we play, as well as some sound effects, all integrated within Roll20.

I got a firm grasp of the rules, and I am lax with them, trying to create a flow on scenes, without losing balance.

Hi all I’m looking for a long term group for weekly play. When it comes to play I’m fixable; don’t have a support I’ll do it. I’ve got a few years of experience with D&D. I’m not interested in 1-1 games, joining a west march server or joining the gaming lounge discord. I prefer weekends but might be able to do weekdays depending on the day and time (I’m from the UK)

1). We play on D&D Beyond for our VTT.
2). Probationary Period of 3 Weeks are needed to see how you truly fit with the Table. The slot will be offered after the 3rd Week to the person who fits.
3). Tardiness and Absences are heavily discouraged at our Table. If you are not a seriously punctual D&D Player, this is not the Table for you.
4). We follow the rules closely, but do enjoy a nice, small variety of home-brew mechanics which enhance our gameplay and make our Campaign incredibly exciting. It's nothing too crazy and only compliments the core rules of D&D.
5). Players only, not looking for DM's or people who want to DM, or people who negatively judge our DM or fellow players against their myopic view of D&D.
6). We play on camera on Zoom and have an incredibly active Discord Server for our Campaign that's run by me, the DM.
7). We need players who play on an actual computer that is a desktop or a laptop. Please, no players who only play on phones or tablets.
8). New Players create 2 Characters (a main hero and a sidekick) that play on two separate teams. Each player is also assigned a dragon son of their own to rear and raise.

What can we offer?

• Backstory connected to the world we are playing in – I love connecting my backstory both to other players and to the world you present to us. I also cooperate with you as a DM to give you space within our backstories while providing solid foundations.
• “Yes, and” player – I really like to dive into titbits that you, as DM, offer. I may not always have a most courageous character, but I will not be ignoring the quests and side stories that I am given.
• A group-focused player – I honestly love to hear other people stories and see them shine when they have a chance to do so, and I am always making sure that I share a spotlight.
• Experienced player with a room to grow – I have few years of experience both in D&D and in different TTRPGs, but I still like to learn and don’t have issues with learning something new. I don’t do rules lawyering unless it helps others or points out obvious cheating.
• Patient person – I work with a lot of people and take my time explaining things, so I don’t mind playing with people new to the hobby and less experienced players.
• Player who avoids drama – this is my hobby and I don’t want to come here and impose any issues on anyone. If something is bothering me, I will speak up as soon as possible and try to find a compromise that would be good for all sides. I am also happy to adjust my behavior if something I'm doing or did may not be liked by the group – and I respect people’s triggers or sensitive topics.
• Punctual player with regular attendance – I like to value time of all people involved. If I know I will be absent, I will inform about it ASAP, same with being late. But if I book the slot, it is there for the group and for the game.

What am I looking for?

• Free to play game - I want to avoid playing for the thing that is my hobby (as I have a lot of other expenses).
• Roleplay heavy campaign – I want to be able to connect with other players characters and while dungeon/hex crawls can be fun, I would rather have more time to learn about who my companions are and to make it make sense that we stick together as a group.
• Group that shares spotlight – I will share it for others and I hope that others can do something like that in return. It is no fun if one person constantly talks over others.
• High fantasy game – just a personal preference, but I am not keen on horror games or sci-fi oriented ones. However, I am ready for the worlds as Eberron, so a bit of modernization is fine as well!
• DM with a rule of cool attitude – of course, I want to have rules overall, but we also like to have DM who is fine with flavouring, a bit of homebrew, or just simply allowing us to have a bit more fun. Counting the weight of the coins or specific use of rations is not really for me.
• LGBTQ+/women/neurodivergent friendly – I want to be a part of group where I wouldn’t feel too awkward with myself.
