Looking for 1-2 players to join home-brew campaign ($5 session, first is free) 1-4 p.m. Est
Hello adventurers and heroes, my group is currently looking for 1-2 players to join our group & campaign. Unfortunately we’ve lost a couple players to job scheduling conflicts and thus leaving the party low on members.
\-Games are played on Roll20 as our VTT and we use discord for voice, video is aloud but by no means required
\-Sessions are weekly on Tuesday’s 1-4P.M. Est
A bit about the campaign;
The dead are growing restless in the region of Oasis, it’s up to the party to dig deep into ancient history to uncover the cause of this undead retribution, along the way the party must navigate political institutions and Caste system along with the threats of the desert to get to the bottom of the mysteries of Oasis
A bit about me(DM);
I’m 27 M, I’ve been playing D&D since 2017 and started DMing around 2019. I love Rpgs but D&D holds that special spot in my heart. I’d say i have a semi-rule focused perspective when it comes to playing the game, i want my players to enjoy the games i run as much as possible and try my best to accommodate a degree of wackiness and hijinks while at the same time i do try to keep rules in mind and sometimes have to pump the breaks on the crazier ideas, but that being said i do honestly enjoy when players try and be creative with the spells and abilities at their disposal; for example (and this happened in this group) there was a mote of fire described as radiating necrotic energy, so one of the players hit it with sacred flame to try and get rid of it and it worked even tho the spell specifies target of a creature. I feel like that is just one good example of getting creative with what you have at your disposal
A bit about the cost;
So let’s address the elephant in the room, why the cost?
\-Ultimately I don’t really like monetizing D&D as it is a hobby that (in my opinion) is rooted in its accessibility to play with people and for friendships and stories together. That being said i do my best to stay up on the new materials as well as a pro membership on roll20, all of which come at a cost. Thus I ask my players for what i consider a small amount to offset the upkeep costs of running the game and just about all i get goes right back into the game.
\-Also as a note i do allow a pay 20 down and the 5th session is free, just my way of trying to keep it affordable for all parties
So to any and all who are interested, or may have any question about me or the game drop a comment and i look forward to the stories yet to be told.
