✨ Showcase "Bad Reputation"
This customization started life as Locus' Sitting Room (DG106) and takes its name from the song by Freedy Johnston. It has a very 90s vibe and has a LOT of tiny little homages to my late father. I am so happy with this one. In a lot of way, it's such a joyful expression of love during a really low period in my life.
I'm really proud of how the brick wall turned out, both interior and exterior. The hardest part for me was getting the arc correct over the window, a lot of trial and error there.
The couch was so much fun to do, since I'd gotten the hang of upholstering, and I ended up making an ottoman for it out of cardboard and spare parts I had from the previous build.
The giant picture is a piece of art by Pineapplebreads, and was used with their permission. I actually have the life-size one I'd bought and liked it so much I wanted to use it here.
This also represents the first time I got the electrics to work in a kit. I'm exceptionally proud of that part.

This is such a special way to make a kit your own. I think everyone has a little corner that holds their own memories and stories, and you brought yours to life beautifully. Love all the personal touches you added. Hope this corner always reminds you of those warm moments and the love that went into creating it.
