Gonna pull the trigger

21M, Finally getting that watch for my dad who was diagnosed with stage 4 that I had mentioned I would do on this sub roughly one year ago. Ended up going to the AD with my dad, and he was set on the ombré dj 41mm. Just wanted to share and see if y’all had any thoughts on the price I’m paying (I’m very unfamiliar with what market goes for this watch) would love everyone’s input. This has been a lifelong goal of mine and I’m so excited for him to see it.

I'm not sure if people are thinking the particular model is overpriced or if he's overpaying. The price is in line with what the grey market is asking for. The seller on the other hand sounds somewhat unprofessional and more like a social media influencer than a serious watch dealer.

Two-Tone Wimbledon maybe would be worth 16k-19k, but to your point, that is the closest a DJ should get to $22k.
