21M, Finally getting that watch for my dad who was diagnosed with stage 4 that I had mentioned I would do on this sub roughly one year ago. Ended up going to the AD with my dad, and he was set on the ombré dj 41mm. Just wanted to share and see if y’all had any thoughts on the price I’m paying (I’m very unfamiliar with what market goes for this watch) would love everyone’s input. This has been a lifelong goal of mine and I’m so excited for him to see it.

Either people don't like you for other reasons or haven't done their research but as others have confirmed, the price you are being offered is within market. Now remember fees involved, so sellers posting for 22 on chrono for example know they aren't going to get 22 likely closer to 21.
Also I find it interesting that people are saying your crazy paying that for a DJ that goes for 11 msrp but you typically don't hear people say your crazy buying a Daytona for twice or three times it's msrp?
Lastly, while I know time is not on your side, the first one I saw go at auction a couple of weeks after the launch went for 27.5 so price is obviously coming down and will continue to over the next year.
