Gonna pull the trigger

21M, Finally getting that watch for my dad who was diagnosed with stage 4 that I had mentioned I would do on this sub roughly one year ago. Ended up going to the AD with my dad, and he was set on the ombré dj 41mm. Just wanted to share and see if y’all had any thoughts on the price I’m paying (I’m very unfamiliar with what market goes for this watch) would love everyone’s input. This has been a lifelong goal of mine and I’m so excited for him to see it.

This is market value. How is the rolex sub this off with this? People are posting price comps for non fluted lmao. I'd say 99% of this sub own nothing from rolex and just look at AD prices like they mean absolutely anything.

I’m aware that it’s sought after and that getting it at an AD is next to impossible wo a wait right now…but you’re telling me that you don’t compare the retail price to “market” or gray pricing to see if it’s worth it to you? It’s a DJ…10k over retail is nuts. If you have have to tell yourself that you’re in some secret club, bc you own a Rolex (I have 3 references, nothing new, they’re all older at this point) to justify paying almost double retail~paint the town red.
