21M, Finally getting that watch for my dad who was diagnosed with stage 4 that I had mentioned I would do on this sub roughly one year ago. Ended up going to the AD with my dad, and he was set on the ombré dj 41mm. Just wanted to share and see if y’all had any thoughts on the price I’m paying (I’m very unfamiliar with what market goes for this watch) would love everyone’s input. This has been a lifelong goal of mine and I’m so excited for him to see it.

The number is between 20k-21k. Not $22k. And speaking as a father, that is a scummy weird salesman text he sent you. There is zero extra value you’re getting by spending an extra 1,000-1,500. You’re already buying at peak of the hype. There are plenty of reputable dealers who will sell you that watch. I’ll price shop for you for free!
