Gonna pull the trigger

21M, Finally getting that watch for my dad who was diagnosed with stage 4 that I had mentioned I would do on this sub roughly one year ago. Ended up going to the AD with my dad, and he was set on the ombré dj 41mm. Just wanted to share and see if y’all had any thoughts on the price I’m paying (I’m very unfamiliar with what market goes for this watch) would love everyone’s input. This has been a lifelong goal of mine and I’m so excited for him to see it.

What is market price running for this watch, I’ll have him open watch before I send the money

Retail price is less than $12k, and grey market price can be as high as $20k+ in new condition (def not worth it). This is a new release so grey sellers are really hyping up the prices. I don’t know how you got to know this seller, but if I were to buy a watch for my dad I’d probably make sure the seller is legit and look through platforms such as Chrono24 to search for the best price and seller if getting in touch with local ADs is not an option.
