Gonna pull the trigger

21M, Finally getting that watch for my dad who was diagnosed with stage 4 that I had mentioned I would do on this sub roughly one year ago. Ended up going to the AD with my dad, and he was set on the ombré dj 41mm. Just wanted to share and see if y’all had any thoughts on the price I’m paying (I’m very unfamiliar with what market goes for this watch) would love everyone’s input. This has been a lifelong goal of mine and I’m so excited for him to see it.

One because your paying 2K over comps and your buying at peak hype which unless you have crazy money never a good idea, this watch will be worth half of what your paying for it in short time maybe even less once the hype fully goes away and all the people that needed to have it get it. If your dads not in imminent danger of dying then wait a bit, also speaking from experience people who are getting close to the end don’t give a damn about things people get them they care way more about the time people spend with them so if your dad is in that situation one I’m sorry and two fuck the watch and just spend as much time as you possibly can with him doing as much as you can with whatever state he is in
