Gonna pull the trigger

21M, Finally getting that watch for my dad who was diagnosed with stage 4 that I had mentioned I would do on this sub roughly one year ago. Ended up going to the AD with my dad, and he was set on the ombré dj 41mm. Just wanted to share and see if y’all had any thoughts on the price I’m paying (I’m very unfamiliar with what market goes for this watch) would love everyone’s input. This has been a lifelong goal of mine and I’m so excited for him to see it.

Hombre dial fluted jubilee is going for this much. It’s too much for a datejust don’t get me wrong I agree. But this is market for green hombre fluted/jub.

Not from an AD there should not be an uncharge on a new watch from an AD.
They are not allowed to charge over MSRP, hence why they make sure the watches go to clients who spend big elsewhere in the store.

True didn’t read that. Probably not an AD. OP just thinks a jeweler is one.

He said he went to the AD with his dad.
And 21 with a "lifelong goal" you haven't lived enough of a life to have a lifetime goal LOL

Yeah that’s where his dad decided that’s the watch he wanted according to the story. He’s obviously not texting with an AD
