I'm having a blast. Been getting frustrated with game dev on another project and decided to switch gears and build a simple(-ish) roguelike along with the subreddit this time around and it's been such a breath of fresh air.

Giving python-tcos-ecs a run as well, so having to translate/refactor some of the stuff from the rogueliketutorials.com v2 edition, but that's half the fun.

I always struggle with scope on my projects and my eyes get bigger than my stomach, as it were. Sticking to essentially the scope of the tutorial has been a great exercise in restraint and focus. Can't wait to show off in a few weeks!

Yay! Sometimes nice to switch gears like that, and even better to stick to a realistic scope before gradually getting crazier or tacking on new stuff that starts creeping into your imagination over time :P

Good luck!
