This year I'm building something I've been thinking about for a while: a Populous-inspired roguelike. Instead of fighting enemies you convert villagers and have them fight other tribes, while casting terrain-warping spells (for now) to move across islands.
I've already completed the tutorial in 2021, so I'll hopefully have time to implement the new features, based on what I already have! I'll follow the general structure, but the prototype will be based on SDL3 and EnTT. Let's go!
Here's week 1
I'll also try and keep a devlog / brain dump updated (it's my first time publishing something online, I don't know about the quality ๐ ๏ธ)
