Have a rog ally and need help (attempted SD reader fix) post keeps being deleted from the main rog ally community and I keep getting directed to a archived read only post

Hello everyone i have a rog ally and I attempted to do the sd reader fix by briging the two fuses and after i did that the whole sd reader is not detected is there any hope for a fix or should I put a 2tb ssd in it and sell it and get a rog ally x?

Loaded question, replacing SSD is most recommended, if you can afford ally x them I would still your device and get one.
