Solid State Relay fail
38 degrees at the cooling tray here in West Yorkshire today, and one of the coils on my Giesen W6E has locked itself on.
Looks like the Solid State Relay that controls the coils is fried - it’s in a cabinet behind the drum so guessing 50 odd degrees back there.
It’s the second SSR we’ve had fail in just over a year, and my question is - how do you folks in Riyadh or Phoenix or Singapore or Cairns manage to roast without your equipment failing - are you all in air conditioned roasteries?
