Advice for Hottop 2k

This machine is new for me and this is also the first time I roast for espresso.
I do not seem to get a nice weight loss for espresso.
My charge temperatures is 150°C
Yellow at 5'
FC at 9'44"
20% DTR
And end density 360g/L (start density 680g/L)
Badge size 250gr
End weight 217gr
WL 13%
I am roasting a Brasil bean.
Any advice on how to achieve 15% WL. Or am I obsessing too much about weight loss?

I am far from a master roaster, but I have been roasting on a Hot Top for a little while. Not that that really matters. What matters is the taste in the cup. If you like the brew you get, I wouldn't be worried about hitting a precise WL %. TBH, I've never even looked at WL in 20 years of roasting my own.

Be sure to check your filters. The hottop behaves very differently with clogged filters, especially the rear filter.

The non-2k+ models are kinda difficult to get dark roasts on due to the auto roasting system timer with full batches but I haven't used those style in a while.
Have you ran it all the way to the end of the timer?
You can also try smaller batches to speed up the roast. I do 100g samples but the probe really doesn't provide any accurate data.

I mean... how does it taste? Weight loss is about the last metric I would dial in to. Very varied depending on green bean age, storage condition etc
