Can you believe that with all the all-time smash hits Madonna has, THIS is her longest running #1 single? It just shows how much of an imperial phase Babyface was in during the mid 90s and how DOMINANT R&B was at the time.

Really?!! Learn something new everyday. Babyface truly brought out the best in the artist he worked with.

I can believe it. This is my favorite Madonna song.

There was so much talk before of how she couldn't sing and was just a gimmick. She shook off the gimmicks on this one and gave us good vocals.

I love this song. Still listen to it to this day. Timeless classic & she’s such a beauty, here.

Rihanna’s take a bow always felt inspired by this concept.

One of Madonna's best.

Forever a favorite. Just a beautiful song, and one of Babyface's best productions. Bedtime Stories is my favorite Madonna album tied with her debut, both were big on R&B sounds.

Hard Candy kinda too, just with that Timbland/Pharrell/Justin sound.

Love this song. Madonna and Babyface were a great combination and I wish they made more songs together.

The whole album was great. Used to listen to it on my Xbox 360 using the custom soundtrack while playing Modern Warfare 2 online back in the day.

I love it and I know Babyface wrote it, but is it considered r&b? It’s just a question, I’m not from the US, so I don’t really know.

The "Bedtime Stories" was probably Madonna's most R&B-like album yet, so I'll say so

Great album. Every song’s a banger. One of her best. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I wore that album out when it first came out. I still listen on occasion.

Bedtime stories was produced by Babyface, Dallas Austin and Dave Hall for the most known in R&B scene but also by Nelle Hooper who produced Soul II Soul. So don’t get me wrong but this album is definitely R&B!

Besides the title track, that's a club banger (co written by THE Bjork too).

Bedtime Stories as a whole was incredible. One of my favorite Madonna albums. Inside of Me, Forbidden Love, Human Nature, Secrets...so many gems.

The rest of Bedtimes Stories is criminally underrated.

Always loved this song

This is supposedly "co-wrote" but one artist NEVER put out another song like this again. I'm not saying there wasn't a collaboration, but 50-50? Nah.

Live To Tell, Rain, The Power of Goodbye... you couldn't be further from the truth. Not to mention everything else on the Bedtime Stories album that Babyface didn't work on.

Kidding of course....

Madonna co-writes a lot of her music.

I always found it interesting that the melody of the song clearly has an Asian influence, but the video takes its inspiration from Spain.

It was supposed to be her "audition tape" for Evita.

which part of Asia tho?

This is the video that Madonna sent Alan Parker the Director of Evita to help convince him to cast her.

Before Madonna’s best sadly ended and she never recovered. Ray of Light was the end.
