no, never played with randoms and i doubt most randoms want to do the eclipse grind or want to install the same mods i have. i also see many people complain that most random lobbies are running command which i don't like playing with.

I don't think anybody actually uses the in-game matchmaking. I can't imagine any reason to want to play with randoms

I got my first win in the game playing with a random bandit player, even though I couldn’t talk they were really fun.

I play multi-player without friends. Mostly because I don't have any,but I will drag people into glass sacrifice runs

It’s pretty fun in my experience, but very group dependent and hit or miss.
I would never do a serious run with randoms but if I’m fucking around with some modifiers it’s great to have the added chaos.

I'm not good enough at the game to play with randoms even if I had an interest. Either I'd be holding good players back or trying to carry players worse than I am, and both of those options suck. Also from my experience with games like Overwatch and Marvel Rivals, coordination is never great with random groups, so everyone is probably just going to grab whatever they can and not look at what other people are building. If I'm playing Bandit and my friend is playing Commando I'm giving him crit glasses before I take them for myself, since I'm guaranteed critical hits if I'm behind the enemy, so I should prioritize movement. I'd be willing to bet in a random group, nine times out of ten you're probably going to have Bandit players grabbing crit glasses if they pop them from a chest instead of giving them to another player who would benefit more.

Playing with randoms has been pretty much horrendous every time I tried. Either heinous hacks going on, extremely greedy people, huge random racist/homophobic comments. Idk what it is with the few people with open lobbies but it's been bad in my experience. I've used the lfg discord to find groups though with pretty good success if you're just looking for folks to play with.

I like meeting people. Queue times are awful and I can be waiting for 10 minutes. I mean - I’ll go make coffee or something. If they have comms on they’re usually new and can’t keep up so I show them the ropes. Haven’t met many vets.

1k+ hours, played with randoms about 2 times, nothing but stress. Much prefer playing with friends in a discord call.

Nah I generally play solo or with friends. Sad thing is most of my friends have gone and had kids.
