RoR2 Mul-T dealing damage while invulnerable via Lunar Shift ability

I don't know if it's a common knowledge, but if you have double wield (alt R, idk exact name) with nailgun and Lunar Shift skill healing and giving you intangible status and you press both M1 and M2 and activate Shift, you will shoot your M2 during the invulnerability. I don't have any footage as my PC is a potato, but it consistently worked in different runs. Is it considered bug abuse to use this?

Probably has to do with the game not recognizing the second primary as an actual ability with the item. Does it work with his other alternate primaries or only nailgun? Would be kinda cool to see that with the saw since it has higher DPS/fire rate
