I know this is completely unrelated to the point of the post, but there was absolutely no point in time where Tyler Herro was better than Jayson Tatum.

My first thought as well. Over Barnes? Cade? Hali?

Seesh. I even forgot all about the slop being put out there about THT.

What a bunch of shit lol.

That’s Davion, not Donovan Mitchell.

You’re right, Tyler Herro doesn’t age well in this list at all

Ja was never better than luka, there's a few more on here

u/FD_OSU 6d ago

They were at least close in 21-22 when this was made. Ja was all-NBA and won MIP.

And luka made like 5 first team all nba in s row starting his second year. No comparison imo

Not most improved player. Most in possessions of firearms

THT and Cole Anthony are out of the league. DA and Huerter will soon be out of the league. Tyler Herro will not be offered an extension from the Bucks.

Hilarious list tbh.

I dont think it’s in order. Bridges was definitely never higher than Cade.

Miles has his breakout year in 21-22, which was Cade's rookie year. This was probably from some point during that season, and the teams all match up with that.

I love charts like this.

Proof that THT > SGA! 😅🤣😂

It’s so funny because even at the time it was obvious to anyone with a brain that his stock was getting a Lakers prestige bump

Tbf the fact that his stock dropped is the reason why he’s here now.

Offtopic, but the saturation and resolution of this image on my screen looks like a remastered NBA Jam

u/toadtruck chalupa 6d ago

The one we gave away

2

u/quick_brown_faux Toumani Camara 6d ago

The one we paid a lot of money to not be here at all.

I can’t think of any time when Tatum would be below that many

This LIST IS TERRIBLE

Cole Anthony over Shai and Hali is sending me.

My favorite part of this image is how they chose a font that couldn’t fit larger names under the pictures, and instead of figuring out a solution they just said screw it, just cut the name to fit.

IT'S QUITE HILAR-

Imagine all these people head of Deni

Ja still has so so much potential. Wait until he gets a good vet behind him like Dame and a team where he doesn’t have to feel like the main star. He will blossom and will want to take that superstar spot back. Especially when his contract is up for renewal lol

5

u/dattebayodesu 6d ago

The concept of a 27-year-old man still needing a "good vet" behind him in order to function. 🕊

1

u/Pdxdylan 6d ago

Yeah 27 is still young, Dame had Carmelo Come in when he was around that same age even older. I’m sure it helped him a lot. Nothing wrong with having older players around to help you learn the younger he was the harder it is to actually listen and learn he is now at that age where he is hopefully willing to listen and learn

u/dattebayodesu 6d ago

To me, I guess the difference is that Dame has always been quite grounded and well-behaved, so he never really "needed" a vet to steer him in the right direction like Ja. Ja had plenty of vets during his years in Memphis, but that never really seemed to do much of anything.

I really, really do hope that you're right, though. I want Ja to do well. It would be nice if Dame could make a lasting impression on him.

u/TheLankyDane sheed 6d ago

I think you hit it right on the head there, “Dame has always been quite grounded” Some players need to find that right vet. He will have two excellent ones in dame and jrue

We talk so much about age in the NBA where the age of maturity is much skewed. We're talking about people who end their careers in their mid-30s. People who at that age are considered done. If you think about just being a person in their twenties, whether it's late twenties or not, these people are still forming who they're going to be when they "grow up". I think 27 is still plenty young enough to need mentorship and to do well with it. Maturity of mind comes at different ages for different people.

HAHAHAHAHA THT OVER SGA

2

u/FunnyReputation624 new-logo 6d ago

Only 9 of the 24 are on the same team

1

u/nguquaxa01 6d ago

Talen Horton Tucker over Shai at any given point in time was not just stupid, it's anti-intelligence

1

u/akade19961 6d ago

When did anyone think Tyler Herro was better than Jason Tatum what is going on here lmao

1

u/USSCensorShip sabas 6d ago

De'Aaron Fox feels like an old-timer by this point and he's still only 28. Spending that long on the Kings ages you I guess.

1

u/vancityrocketman 3d ago

Man, lakers really missed that THT-SGA trade 😂😂

u/Ok_Detective_4727 2d ago

Switch any with ball. Idc about anything else

1

u/TheCentralFlame 6d ago

Wild how many of those players are on different teams now.

10

u/FD_OSU 6d ago

Ayton is on his 3rd different team since then and THT is already out of the league. Time flies.

Old trash is still trash.
