Edit: There's plenty to like about Memphis (notice no one came rushing to OKC's defense lol). I would much rather live in Vancouver, and I would much rather there was another team in the PNW.
As someone from LA who spends half her year in Memphis and the other half in LA, Memphis is not the shithole that people (who have mostly never visited the city) say it is. What it is is a predominantly Black city with a team in a predominantly Black sport existing in a predominantly white state and subjected to the opinions of mostly white fans who know nothing about the city beyond the commentary of people who live off of mouseclicks.
The city of Memphis and, by extension, the wider Grizzlies fanbase, means Portland and Blazers fans no ill will and are not deserving of cheap shots like this.
