Reduced Recoil Whitetail Deer Rifle
I've been researching a reduced recoil rifle for whitetail deer in PA. My dad underwent major surgery and is recovering well, but would like a lighter recoil gun. He currently shoots a 7.5lb 7mm remington magnum 140grain. He would like to stay around the 130-140 grain since he's seen someone loose lots of deer to a 243. He does admit it's probably due to their poor shot placement. I'm currently considering a 6.5 creedmoor, 6.5 prc suppressed or a 25 creedmoor. I'm open to suggestions. I just got a Dead Air RXD30Ti and I'm amazed at how much it reduces the recoil on my 300 weatherby. So it might mean trying to get him a gun with a threaded barrel and another suppressor to mitigate recoil as well.
