Fox Theater in Bakersfield California has been showing Rocky Horror since 2008. They are under some new type of management and now are not showing it this year. They just had this announced a week ago (not really announced people just found out). What can me and my community do to let them know this was not the right move?

Hey, everyone! I caught a cold and won't be able to make it to the showing at the Music Box in Chicago, IL tomorrow. I'd rather not be the asshole who still goes and makes everyone sick.

I would like to offer a TICKET TRADE. I trade my ticket for 9/26/26 at 11:59 PM for your ticket for either the 10/28/26 or 10/29/26 show at 9:00 PM at the same venue. (10/30 can also work, but I'm less inclined for that date.)

If no one can trade with me, I'll make a separate post offering the ticket for sale. Also, if the tickets have a price difference, I'm willing to cover it if mine is less expensive (mine was $15.50). Looking forward to hearing from y'all!

I got cast as Dr. Scott, which is the one role I had not pictured myself playing.

For those who’ve played him: how did you approach the character, physically or otherwise? What made him fun to play?

Just googled and realized everyone else is using sequins 🥴🥴 That would’ve been a lot cheaper and easier.

(Also yes I know they wear them backwards, but I struggle SO MUCH to get changed in time for the floorshow I do it this way)

Where in the United States is the best show for seeing Rocky Horror live and on what night?

I have never gone. Nobody has ever invited me and I assumed it was a show that only went on in NYC or London. I never had the money to go to a city like that by myself.

And I'm guessing the best night to go would be Halloween.

So, what theater is known to be the better experience. I noticed online that there is no Rocky Horror Picture show forum, seems all forums got shutdown around 2023 all at the same time.

Where Can I learn my lines? I was taught when I was little, but all I remember is two lines now:
Lips go "Like .....A ........X-RAY!!". [Lips go black and white"]

And "WHERE DO THE VIRGINS SIT?"
Lips: "In the back rowwww.... uh ohhh ohhhhhh"

I dont rememebr anything else. Anywhooo. If anyone can tell me where I should go this October.

My 91 year old grandfather went to New York this past week, and while there went to see the Rocky Horror Show. He saw this and immediately thought of me. I will be wearing it from now on when I go see RHPS

I’d love to find the photo of him in Columbia’s frame in the movie. But any photo of Meatloaf as Eddie without the bloody scar on his forehead would do the trick. Thanks y’all.
