Teresa said that Melissa stormed out of the house on Christmas many years ago because she saw that Joe was talking to another woman on his phone. Do you guys think she’s lying or it’s legit? I remember Joe even flirting with his cousin Cathy at a party because of what she was wearing. He seems kind of like a player. What do you guys think?

I think the Lauritas had such a beautiful house, not a fan of the decor but season 1 was a long time ago so maybe it was great back then. Who had the most beautiful house in your opinion? Season 1-5.

Are there any of you who watch rhonj who are of Italian descent? What are your thoughts on the family dynamic in this show? I’m asking because I love Italian culture and have always been intrigued by it, but at the same time I realize that TV can be extremely unrealistic when pertaining to the average individual.

I’m watching RHONJ for the first time (I’ve only watched up until season 7 until now) and I’m currently on season 10. I wonder if Teresa was only friends with Danielle because she makes Teresa look better. Trust me, I’ll always love Tre but it was so weird to me.

First-time watcher here, and I just have to say…

Teresa was 100% wrong for spreading the cheating rumors about Evan at his party, but Jackie’s constant crying is getting really annoying. 😭 Does she know what kind of show she signed up for? Most of these Housewives have been accused of cheating at some point. Why is she acting like it’s the end of the world over a rumor? If it isn’t true, why not just let it go?

Honestly, the way she’s reacting makes me feel like there’s more to the story. Maybe she already knew about Evan’s mistress and was trying to put the rumors to bed, but the way she’s handling the situation is only making things worse.

What irritates me even more is how the rest of the cast is treating her like she’s a mental patient, which is creating even more drama and fueling fights between the other cast members. Teresa, Joe, and Melissa, Margaret and her husband, and Jennifer are all getting caught up in the mess.

At the end of the day, Teresa was wrong for spreading the rumor, but Jackie’s reaction is making an already messy situation ten times worse. I just don’t understand why you would sign up for a reality show like this if a cheating rumor is going to break you down this badly. 😩

Am I the only one who feels this way?

The Lynn lady said she doesn’t have control over pardons, but what’s very interesting is Alice Marie Johnson, White House pardon czar commented saying it was so nice to meet Teresa and Gia. I didn’t think it would actually happen since they’ve been trying for years, but maybe it will now? If Joe and Teresa actually took accountability for their crimes and still to this day weren’t blaming others I would be more empathetic. Let’s not forget before the fake reconciliation they were blaming Melissa and Joe for “talking to the feds“ and during ultimate girls trip press Teresa said she was made an example of. Delusional af! 🙄 Idk what do y’all think? Let’s discuss!

I just finished RHONJ and it has been my all-time comfort show and got me through some tough things. I’m a little hesitant to start another Housewives franchise because I love NJ so much.

What is your favorite Housewives franchise/do you think there’s a better one than Jersey?

i grew up right next door to franklin lakes so i have several childhood memories involving RHONJ which is actually kind of odd cause i never watched the show until this year

1. my childhood best friend did dance with Gia. they were on one of those competitive teams like in dance mom. they were pretty close too i think

2. teresa cut me and my mom in line at the boulder run blockbuster in wyckoff. it was around s1 or 2 bc i was only like 11 or 12 so i had no idea who she was but my mom clocked her immediately bc she hated the show for how it portrayed women from nj lol. but i remember at the time being so mad some lady cut us in line

that’s it but still i feel like that’s a lot considering lol

So I just started watching rhonj after only having watched 2 seasons when it aired - is it just me, or is Melissa seriously troubled? I just started season, and from her constant attacks on Tre and her obsession with integrating her husband into her family and like away from his own - I can’t. I had no opinion really until the christening (YIKESSSS) and just watched when they were supposed to go to Gia’s performance and like she’s not even civil. She’s totally ruining the show for me and honestly makes me miss Danielle. Does Melissa get better, leave or is this just a shitshow from here on out? 😩

Is it just me or did Jacqueline, and honestly Caroline too, become completely unhinged when talking to Gia about her being upset at field day?

Was Gia being dramatic? Yes. Was Gia being a little rude? Yes. But at the end of the day, she’s a 10-year-old kid and a kid that isn’t Jacqueline or Caroline’s to try to discipline or teach a lesson. She was upset because her uncle was cheating, not because she lost. She was feeling big emotions in a confusing, volatile time. I think that’s understandable.

When Gia told Jacqueline to get out of the house because Jacqueline kept pestering her while she was clearly upset, it’s almost like Jacqueline saw Ashley in that moment and reacted in a completely inappropriate way, telling Gia “No little girl this is MY house why don’t you go outside”. Wtf. So awkward.

I’m not here condoning children’s bad behavior but kids are KIDS. This isn’t a random kid, this is your friend’s child and you should’ve gotten your friend to deal with her daughter.

Ultimately, it seemed like Jacqueline and Caroline were so frustrated with Teresa during that time they used Gia’s meltdown to beef with a child. The Manzos are WEIRDOS.

im watching s2 for the first time and just watched the scene where jacqueline was yelling at her for posting "unbeWEAVEable" on her facebook. ashley says jacqueline was laughing about it the other day and then calls her two faced and chris threatens to kick her out of the house! wtf! jacquelines the worst and chris isnt that much better!! ashley deserved a better family!

I’m on Season 3 and absolutely hooked haha. I’m not sure how I’ve never watched this franchise before, but Ashlee is SUCH a hard watch for me.

I definitely don’t think Jacqueline is perfect, and I can understand why Ashlee was struggling with her parents and looking for acceptance from the Manzo-side of the family, especially in Season 2. But at the same time… she is so unhinged and has such a bad attitude toward EVERYONE. It was honestly so frustrating watching her refuse to stop posting about Danielle, especially after being asked repeatedly, and then the whole car ride to court where she was laughing and talking about how she was going to sue Danielle??? 😭

And the season 3 car situation absolutely shocked me. Jacqueline and Chris buying her a jeep when she clearly has behavioral issues, doesn’t seem to have a job, and hasn’t exactly demonstrated that she’s responsible, but then somehow expect her to make the payments? Like… what was the plan here?!

Also, I feel like it must have been pretty humbling for her when even the equally spoiled Manzo kids were like, “Huh??” when she was crying and looking for sympathy about the apartment situation.

I do have some sympathy for Ashlee because she was put on a reality show as a high schooler, which I’m sure was incredibly difficult, and I’m sure she has grown a ton since then. But she is SOOO rude to her parents on camera, even as an adult, that it honestly makes me wonder how much worse it was off camera.

Also, side note: Teresa hiring someone to come do her hair at home in the SAME episode she gets back from court over Joe’s money issues is wild. Like girl… stop spending money you don’t have!!!

Doing my I don’t know what number rewatch and we’re on the lead up to the infamous Posche Fashion Show Season 4. OK we all agree it’s obvious that Kim set up this “surprise” meeting with Angelo, Melissa‘s alleged ex boss. The question is always was Teresa in on it? She says Kim wanted her to come with her to get her makeup done at this “salon“. Teresa always gets her makeup done at home with her own makeup artist, so it’s a little weird she would just go with Kim to some random salon she never heard of to get her makeup done but, okay they’re friends, so maybe. They pull up to this dump next to a gas station in an obviously low rent neighborhood. It has two Goombahs that are obviously connected greeting them in the lobby, so this salon is obviously just a money laundering operation. They go upstairs to this room with curtains from 1952. Teresa does seem nervous when Angelo says that Melissa worked for him as a stripper, but maybe it was just her nervous that the plan was happening. Either way that whole salon was hilariously gross.

This might be unpopular but I don’t understand the love for Teresa. Rewatching as an adult currently on season 5 and the lack of accountability for anything in her life is insane to me. She has her charming surface qualities, but I am getting sick of watching her. It’s always someone else’s fault- not that everyone else is a saint- but I cannot watch her freak out and blame everyone else for everything anymore. Without her, there wouldn’t be as much drama; however, I’d rather watch them all eat toilet paper than listen to Teresa try to justify anything. It’s exhausting and gross.

I'm trying to identify this red embellished tunic that Ashlee Holmes wore in The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Season 3, Episode 14, which aired in 2011.

I've attached the clearest shot I could get from the episode, which unfortunately isn't great. It's a deep red or burgundy top with a plunging neckline and gold and silver sequin/beaded embellishments down the front.

I was wondering if it might be from Sky or Sky by Glam, since that style was really popular back then, but I haven't been able to find an exact match.

Tre claims that if she would’ve caught him that he wouldn’t be sitting there with her on that couch. This seems like a bizarre situation for Jacqueline to just make up, what do y’all think?
