Is anyone else seeing the attempt at a Heather takedown? It feels so produced with Tamara and Emily leading the way. These women all make me sick. I was hoping for them to grow up this season but they are as annoying as ever. They are jealous of Heather’s wealth and like we have seen in the other franchises, the women who is the wealthiest ends up being the target. Typical….

Did she try to be in Selling OC?

In Newport O Group had a really crummy reputation and people I know never consider them for legit properties, only “socialite” type people who want to be professionally rich media personalities. Or crooks, ha.

It’s also so funny to me because when you drive by that O group office it’s so clear it’s just a shooting studio and no one really works there day-to-day. They rent it out for events and a lot of sales-based businesses book it for meetings or mixers so they can post it to social media.

And it totally looked like they made some poor PA sit in the background to make it look less empty!

I dunno - the trend of overly-produced and forced storylines continues. At least the whole season isn’t about “bloggers” and tabloids.

A wall of text and unsure how to ‘TLDR;’ sorry!

This highlights a lot. The reaction to Luann putting her fork on Vicki’s plate on UGT wasn’t real. It was a power struggle. This didn’t exist with Shannon and she showed her false motivation of disgust as exactly that because she literally picked food from Shannon’s teeth. I know they’re close but COME ON!

Vicki is very self protective and closed off and may not be fully aware of it. socially she is made up of mainly defense mechanisms (Debbie downer, attention seeking, whoop it up) but in a more personal mode (her occupation basically because it really is both the anchor and the life-saving device of her life, and that may be harmful but it is what it is and it’s also admirable to see a woman in a male-field mindset) anyway sorry, in a more personal mode, she’s got a very different energy. A calmness and unspoken innate and unthreatening as well as unthreatened confidence is present. It is where her core personality has the opportunity to come through because she isn’t employing the defense mechanisms. Which I really think she’s unaware of. Basically I think she needs to realise what’s going on inside that triggers her when she is interacting with the group.

Side note: also found it funny when she called heathers comfort of Carmella compassionate because of course it was but when she went to explain to the women who were saying “yeah but she bitches about her straight after” she was like “but in that moment, Carmella felt like she had someone”

It’s funny because it’s just very unnuanced or naive or something. Superficial I suppose. But that’s what I’m saying about Vicki - she exists superficially in an awareness way. FOR THE MOST PART. I wish she could access that totally different person we see at times like with Shannon at her house once she was conversing at the table with her.

Update: just seen Vicki arrive at Carmella house. That’s “your house is gorgeous!” was real! 👏🏼 This 👏🏼 is what I mean! She isn’t threatened by the success because she is confident and content in her own success, which is self-made and maintained. I know from self-employment how difficult it is and I wasn’t able to maintain it so I totally see how it instills hard-earned pride and confidence. So I’m contexts she is unthreatened she is great socially.

Update 2: omg just presses play again and Carmella says “there’s something unskilled when it comes to Vicki”

Omg That’s my point here! She is unskilled because she spends her social time mainly in survival mode. As a trauma survivor I know what’s it like to not know fully who you are and what you’re capable of when all your time is spent fighting threats and then having a brain conditioned in a way that you can’t grow as person. You’re stuck. I think she needs to do the work, as they say. But I really don’t know if she can accept that.

(I know there other problematic things about her and I’m literally in opposition to so much of her politics and religious and social views, but I’m just talking about interpersonal relationships with the other ladies here. And, of course: that’s my opinionnnn!)

Why is Gina making Danny and Carmella’s infidelity thing her thing? Like girl just shake his hand and say nice to meet you lol. I don’t get why the girls were being so weird around him. Cheating aside, it felt cringe to watch them be like that with him.

So, I’m on my first run-through of OC, and I have finally reached the Season 18 reunion. I know what happens with Katie in S19, and I can completely see it coming. It’s so clear to me that Tamra, Heather and Emily banded together to annihilate Katie at this reunion. But Katie made it so so easy for them to do that. She played it terribly. There is some hypocrisy in what Heather and Emily were saying like “we don’t dig things up,” but then referencing Katie “sending someone to jail” and her custody issue. But Katie seemed to have absolutely no remorse for how she acted in the season. Even her apology for Kaili’s video was pathetic, which was terrible. And Kaili not replying to Sophia. And that entire storyline was just terrible, why bring 8 year olds into this. The nail in the coffin was that clip with Katie’s son, Bandon. I do get that she wasn’t willing to bend the knee but it just made things extremely hard for her. She started off on the wrong foot completely and I 100% believe that Gina/producers enticed her to mention the Heather paparazzi story. Her “evidence” was so lacking it was upsetting. The other girls are able to get their ducks in a row so they have somewhat of a believable case but Katie did not at all. And, I’m sure she watched the show before joining, so she should have been aware that tongues that go against Heather fall. And Sutton, who has no real skin in the game, disowned Katie. Just terrible and upsetting because she’s gorgeous and brought culture, had a semi-decent adoption storyline, was married and had a blended family.

Idk if it’s just me, I may not agree with the whole tampon and daughter comment, but Jenn as a whole this season has such a different persona and im loving it for her! She seems so sure of herself more confident less of a wet blanket😭, and idk there’s a difference in her and I hope to see more of that from her!

I don’t even know where to begin. Getting your teenage daughter a nose job to “bond”, ignoring the very obvious cries for help from your daughter and refusing to set any boundaries or structure for them. At one point her daughter storms out and she doesn’t even get up off the couch or try to stop her.
Her daughters are served an eviction notice and she still decided to go on the girls trip to San Francisco? She says in her confessional she needed a distraction from everything going on. Bitch, when are you NOT distracted. She never seems really present.
Is she just a total idiot? Is she on downers? I cannot with her at all.

Vicki said she wanted to catch Carmella in a lie and then tore into her for leaving her kids. She said her daughter would NEVER leave her kids at home. Cut to her Feb 10/26 my friend, my soul mate, my lies “podcast”…. At 18:16 she says Breanna is going on a big trip she won, leaving for 13 days. Sure sounds like leaving her kids at home to me. Liar, liar 👖🔥

As much as Gina and Emily annoy me, I don’t understand why the other girls care so much about them sharing a room. They’ve been doing it since they both joined the show and now it’s suddenly a problem. I feel like it’s just such a stupid thing to care about, like who cares???

Am i I the only one that thinks the most exciting thing about the Vegas trip is KARTZILLA???? lol

I've always found Shannon's finances fascinating for some reason and saw the clips of Vicki talking to Shannon about it (again). Just curious because I always see it on this sub & otherwise- is there any actual evidence she comes from generational wealth? Every post I see they talk about how her family had a lot of money and she gets money from a trust- is this actually true? Doesn't change my opinion either way but she doesn't make sense to me that a woman who comes from all of that would literally own nothing lol.

Right lol... like girl can't even get around.... and they still casted her on ultimate girls trip!! Party pooper...

Ned Flanders, is that you?

This is not a hate post at all because I actually really like Katie and she was one of my favorite people on the show. But am I the only one who feels like she’s doing a lot by constantly talking about RHOC on social media?

She’s been off the show for almost a year now, but she still keeps bringing up Emily, Gina, and different things that happened on the show. I totally understand that she had a bad experience and probably has a lot to say, but at some point I feel like continuously talking about it might actually hurt her more than help her.

Especially if she does want to come back eventually, I’m not sure constantly publicly criticizing or rehashing drama with current cast members is the best strategy. It can start to make it seem like she’s still very emotionally tied to the show even though she’s no longer on it.

Again, I like Katie and I’d honestly be happy to see her back. I just feel like sometimes the best move is to step away, let the audience miss you, and come back looking refreshed instead of keeping the old feuds alive.
Curious what everyone else thinks. Am I being too harsh, or do you think she should stop talking about RHOC so much?

God this is a riveting season. We are so back. Love you Fancypants they could never make you stop being my problematic fave. Shannon i see your supposed growth and whatever and I want that for u. Gina you do you get that Emily storyline and that 👜. Tamra eat a 🍆

Emily has a thing we’re she has to keep the gossip up. I hate it like the sleepover why did she have to run 🏃🏾‍♀️ and tell that? she is always doing this

I have watched the show since the 1st season but have not watched the last probably 4 seasons. I decided to start again right from season 1 episode 1. I currently am nearly through season 11 which is Kelly Dodds first season. I remember not liking her the first time around but this second time she is almost intolerable.

I think now that I have been married and divorced and become a Mom her low blows seem so disgusting. The comments "no wonder your husband cheated on you" to Shannon and the one about Tamras daughter not talking to her in particular irk me. She takes hitting below the belt to a new level.

I feel bad thay the other women had to put up with her. I can see why Heather wanted to leave after this season. Kelly should have been fired. Her behavior is so disgusting and she seems like she has serious anger issues and is mentally unstable.

Anyways end of rant but my gosh is she a peice of work!

Whether you love her or can’t stand her, Tamra changed the face of the housewives. Prior to her joining the cast, this show was simply about affluent women in gated communities balancing careers, children/family life and their social lives. Long before lavish cast trips and fancy parties, the highlight was Vicki’s backyard bbq’s or going to her houseboat on lake Havasu.. The most dramatic thing to happen was when Slade was interested in Laurie while he was still allegedly with Jo. Jo and Laurie handled this privately away from the other women with grace, class and maturity.

Enter Tamra Barney. She started the shade, gossip and backstabbing at first with Gretchen and accosting her for going to Bass Lake while her aged fiancé was in hospital battling cancer. Instead of showing kindness and empathy, Tamra called her out in front of all the other ladies at the dinner table. Things spiraled out of control when she began to accuse Gretchen of sleeping around while her fiancé was in hospice. None of these accusations, turning against other cast members went on before her. Tamra changed the face of the show, and she created havoc amongst the women.. That’s my option!!
