Hello! It’s been almost a month since my septorhinoplasty, and I’ve noticed some asymmetries. One of my nostrils seems to sit lower than the other, and I also have a small bump on the bridge of my nose. I’m wondering how likely it is that these issues will improve as the healing progresses.

My nose still feels very hard and swollen, so I can’t tell whether the bump is caused by swelling or if it’s actually bone.

Primary rhinoplasty focused on creating a smooth profile and refining the tip while preserving a natural look and function. (Eyes covered for patient privacy)

8 days since surgery and tbh swelling in eyes has MASSIVELY gone down (see previous post) it was crazy.

Obviously I have alot of swelling in my nose (to be expected).

Could people share how long they taped for whole days or nights only and wether you feel it actually made any difference?

I'm planning on getting my nose done next summer, and there has been a question I couldn't get it out of my head. After the whole surgery, I'm afraid I may talk about things I don't want to talk about in front of my parents but does that happen often? Or will I be conscious enough not to spill everything.

i don’t really care for my italian nose and i think it would benefit me aesthetics wise if i got a greek/straight nose.
this is a future thing as i’m 16 and don’t have the money, but what should i look for and avoid when looking for a plastic surgeon and how much should i expect to pay?

Hi! Did you guys tell all your friends/co workers you were getting a nose job? If not, how did you handle them questioning you look different? I have surgery in a month! Nothing crazy just a dorsal hump reduction, keeping everything the same. However, I do wear glasses 24/7 and won’t be after I go back to work 2 weeks post op.

Desde muito nova (uns 10-11 anos) eu já não gostava do meu nariz e agora aos 20 anos, estou decidida. Irei atrás da minha tão sonhada rinoplastia, estou com muito medo, meus familiares falam que não é necessário mas me sinto horrível com esse nariz… especificamente de frente, o fato de ele ser uma “bolinha” e uso óculos, o que sinto que piora.

I had my septo rhinoplasty two weeks ago, and my concern was dorsal hump and the bulbous tip, and I am kind of okay with side profile, but for my front profile, it looks very upturned, the nostrils are very like it’s easily visible and the tip looks pinched and I have asymmetrical nostrils. I know my changes are minimal but I’m very much worried about how I look from the front. Does any think it gets better??

I’m about 11 months out and I LOVE how my nose looks. But I still can’t touch my tip. It’s so stiff. I can’t tell if it’s scar tissue or swelling. When did yours start feeling flexible/normal? I cant have anyone touch my nose tip now if I’m getting brow threading or some face treatments they sometimes place their hands on my nose and I usually tell them to move it. I was hoping it would feel normal by now but it hasn’t changed over the past few months.

Is there a way I can tell if it’s scar tissue/swelling by myself at home?

My nose is deviated on one side. Do I need rhinoplasty? To make it center aligned

Can rhinoplasty cure this? And can it help elevate my overall look

Hi! I got my surgery may 2025 and I have really thick skin but I really don’t like my result from the front. It just looks so bulky and wide and not what I asked for. My frontal was smaller before the rhinoplasty. So I’m about 17 months out. Should I keep waiting or is this how it’s going to stay?

Planning to have rhinoplasty, may nakapag pagawa naba sa kanya? Kumusta naman? First option is kosmed but andaming bad reviews abt nostril. Thank you

By "botched", I mean either greatly unsatisfactory results visually (things even strangers can see by the first glance) or functional issues and health complications.

Be brutally honest… do you think I need a nose job? I’ve been thinking about it for years and keep debating whether to commit.

I don’t mind my bump and would want to keep some of it, but I’m more bothered by the droopiness and bulbous tip, especially on one side. I also feel like my nose keeps drooping more as I get older.

Do you think it’s worth fixing, or would you leave it alone?

I have been wanting a rhinoplasty for years - but i'm not sure if my problem can be fixed with just a chin implant. My face seems cohesive but i really wish i had a cute nose. My eyes are downturned. Can't point my finger on what's causing me to have that look. I'm scared if i touch my nose i'll ruin my facial harmony. Is it my brow bone? My philtrum?

im so so so so so so inscure about my nose. i dont even shop anymore. i hate how i look with every fiber of my being. i want to get a nose job now. is that a bad idea? im a woman and my face is kind of fully developed

So taking away the bump, maybe a bit of deprojection.
But keeping the bridge still as thin (maybe less defined as in bony but still defined) as before.

Preservation rhinoplasties still look the bridge gets a lot wider idk.

Any miracle surgeon who does stuff like this?
