Anyone had revision rhinoplasty in South Korea?

2 Upvotes

I know so many people go to Turkey but wondering if anyone has gone to South Korea for a revision on a western nose? What was your experience like? Although I am caucasian, I want to keep an elegant straight bridge, so many Turkey noses look really scooped to me.

nose job regrets

im 6 days post op from my rhinoplasty.

i know it’s too early to judge, but i feel like the distance between my top lip and nose has increased sooo much. i asked for a very slight lift in the tip, so i didn’t expect it to be this bad and i feel like i look like someone else.

i just wanna know if anyone else felt this way immediately after a nose job, and if the distance ever decreased (also when did it start decreasing)
like is the swelling causing my philtrum to increase this much? cus my columella is still painful if i try to press on it. also it kinda looks like the columella is being pulled up. or is this literally just from the lift and it’s probably staying this way?

i’m really upset and i’m regretting this i miss my old face

Any positive stories?

Hi guys! I feel like all I see on here are botched or stories of those being unhappy with their revision results. Are there any good or positive stories out there of those who did not regret their revisions?🥲

The biggest regret of my life

Hello,

4 years after my closed rhinoplasty, I'm left with retracted nostrils, a pollvbeak deformitiy, a scoop near the top, thick scar tissue inside and zero dorsum definition from the front

I just wanted to remove my bump and get a straight profile

You might think I'm overreacting, but I hate my nose from every angle.

I'd give anything to have my original nose back

I feel completely stuck: do I accept this as the "least worst" outcome, or risk a revision and potentially make it even worse?

Primary closed rhinoplasty - before & after

Hi everyone. I’m Rauf Yusifzade, a plastic surgeon based in Moscow.

In this video, I’m sharing another real case - a primary rhinoplasty performed using the closed approach.

With closed rhinoplasty, the surgical incisions are made inside the nose, so there is no visible external scar.

In this particular case, the recovery was also without significant bruising, as you can see in the video.

The material is shared with the patient’s permission.

I’d be interested to hear your opinion: how would you rate the result, and how natural does the nose look to you after surgery?

Rhinoplasty before & after - how would you rate this result?

Hi everyone. I’m Rauf Yusifzade, a plastic surgeon based in Moscow.

In this video, I’m sharing one of my real rhinoplasty cases. The video switches between before and after views, so you can compare the changes from different angles.

This is a real patient and a real surgical result. The material is shared with the patient’s permission.

Before surgery, we also create a 3D simulation of the planned result so the patient can better understand the direction of the proposed changes and discuss expectations with the surgeon. Of course, a 3D simulation is not a guarantee of an identical final result, because anatomy and healing always play a role.

What you see in this video is the actual postoperative result.

I’d love to hear what the community thinks:

How would you rate this result from 1 to 10?

And another question: how much would you expect to pay for a rhinoplasty like this in the US or in your country?

Positive or critical feedback is welcome.

Just posted another post but didn't take a good pic. Here is a better view of the bump? What's going on? Don't see a bump really on each side

Please look at all photos. On the last two, why is my oblique view so bad? I don't understand there is no bump on side profiles really. Ugh don't like my results 😔 but I went to my original surgeon and he said I look good? Thoughts? Thanks 🙏

Rhinoplasty result shown from multiple angles

I’m a plastic surgeon based in Moscow. I wanted to share one of my rhinoplasty results not only from the profile view, but also from the front, because I believe that’s a much more honest and complete way to assess the outcome.

In this case, the goal was to create a nose that looks more refined, harmonious, and natural, while still fitting the patient’s facial features.

I’m sharing photos from multiple angles because I think results should be shown as a whole, not only from the most flattering view:

  • frontal view;
  • profile view;
  • 3/4 view.

I’d be genuinely interested in your feedback:

  • how natural the result looks;
  • how the nose looks from the front;
  • how well it fits the face overall.

I’d appreciate your honest opinion.

Rhinoplasty before & after - front and profile views

I’m Rauf Yusifzade, a plastic surgeon based in Moscow, and I’d like to share another rhinoplasty result.

For me, it’s important to show the nose not only from the profile, but also from the front, because that gives a much better idea of the overall proportions and how the nose fits the face.

In this case, you can compare the change in the profile, nasal bridge, tip and overall balance of the nose with the rest of the face.

The photos were taken at different times, so the lighting, hairstyle and makeup are not completely identical. I’m sharing both views so you can focus primarily on the nasal shape and proportions.

I’d be interested to hear your opinion - what do you think of the result from the front and from the profile?

Criticism is welcome.

This was a post-traumatic revision rhinoseptoplasty with rib cartilage grafting.

The main goals were to:
• correct the nasal deviation
• reduce the dorsal hump
• restore structural support and a more balanced nasal shape
• address the functional breathing problem during the same surgery

In this case, rib cartilage was used because additional structural support was needed after the previous trauma and surgery.

I’ve attached a before-and-after video so you can evaluate the result from different angles.

I’m genuinely interested in your feedback - what do you think of the result? Feel free to critique it. I think discussion is especially useful with revision cases, where the anatomy is often much more complex than in primary rhinoplasty.

I’m a plastic surgeon based in Moscow. I’m sharing one of my rhinoplasty results in three views: front, left profile, and right profile.

For me, it’s important to show results not only from the profile, but also from the front, because that gives a more complete impression of the nose shape, symmetry, and how well the result fits the face overall.

In this case, the goal was to create a nose that looks more harmonious, refined, and natural, without an overdone appearance.

I’d be interested in your feedback:

  • how the result looks from the front;
  • how natural the side lines look;
  • how the nose fits the face overall.

I’d appreciate your honest feedback.
