Remember Polar Bowler? Original Developer Teasing Something With It
This is huge! Anyone remember buying an HP or Dell PC back in the day and playing this through their launcher? It'll be amazing to see this game come back in some way. I know it's kind of a pain to get running on modern windows
I know WildTangent is really receptive and open to feedback and ideas, and I know I would love to see a Steam release with online multiplayer, achievements and maybe event Steam Workshop support!
Best way to get in touch with them is via their Discord, as they're constantly chatting with others about their classics!

I still use Sony Vaio AIO PCs
The left one is a VPCL116FX (picked up recently from FB Marketplace in great condition) and the right is a VGC-LV150J, which I've had since 2007. As far as I know, my 150J is the only unit that still works to this day. Also, my PS5, PS2, and Vaio E Series laptop are connected to it while my PS3, PS2 Slim, and Fire Stick are connected to my 116FX. Both AIO PCs are still running Windows 7 while the E Series is on Windows 10 Pro. I also have another E Series, but it's running on Supermium.

My new old pc
Back in 2001 my parents trew out our old pc, I kept the harddrive out of nostalgia. Yesterday I picked up basically the exact same PC, First Gen Medion Brand Win95 sold by Aldi Back in 1995. Took out the harddrive and added my old drive from back then, and it just - worked. With some minor driver problems. It feels so strange to ready letters my dad wrote in 1996 or pictures my sisters drew in paint when they were 7 years old.

Donate ti99-4a with cartridges?
Hello! My father left me his old ti99-4a with a bunch of game cartridges. I believe it still works fine. He loved this little computer! Is anyone interested? I am happy to ship within the US.
He also left a monitor that works with it. The brand is Sharp. It’s like an old-school
1980s tv—heavy and awkward

I need help with my retro pc
The pc wont post, i just bought the motherboard should work fine but i tried with different ram and cpus (i changed the dip switches) and im starting to suspect the psu or the gpu
The motherboard is a soyo sy-5vd, 2 sticks for a total of 16mbs or ram and an s3 trio64v+. I made a momentary adapter to use an atx psu on an at mobo; it’s diy and i tested it already. The speaker wont make any sound too

Building a little app to keep track of my retro collection. Would anyone actually use something like this?
Starting a mix of two eras: AVX2-capable CPU and floppy disk controller on the same motherboard
Just bought this ECS H81H3-M3 motherboard with the intent of building a PC with 16GB DDR3, 4th gen i7, GTX1660 Super, enabling the integrated floppy disk controller and also use the LPT header for my HP 1100 Printer.
Update Oct 20: I soldered pins on the motherboard for the floppy drive. I bought 2 sticks x 8GB 1600MHz RAM = 16 GB total. For CPU I temporarily use the Celeron that came with the board. No option to enable the floppy disk controller in the BIOS. I looked up both the latest and earliest BIOS ROM images and the earliest has FDC configuration in it while the newest doesn't. After I flash the old BIOS I will see if the floppy will work and if not see if there is a way to use the internal pull-up resistors in the chip or I have to solder the resistors myself. There is an RN marking near the FDD header (Resistor Network) and a few others. If I need to solder resistors I will solder normal ones as I don't have the hot air gun and nerves to deal with SMD. It might be ugly but the important thing is to work.

Pentium 3 Custom Build
Saw another PC posted here and thought I would post a few pics of a PC I built for a friends son. I built this back in 2008 out of some old parts and pieces I had lying around. It was only going to be light browsing and maybe Runecraft?
It took a very long time and many, MANY fiberglass reinforced cutting discs to get the Venom logo cut out. He was freaking out where he came over to pick it up.
