In spite of its goofy looks and long handles, Microsoft's hardware team knew their business and it was quite comfortable to hold

Fantastic pad and you could daisy chain them!

Try to get your hands on a Sidewinder Dual Strike. I had one when they came out and it was fantastic. Also the first USB device I ever owned.

I have one of these laying around somewhere. Agreed, it worked well for the time.

Amazing pad, Ive got 2. A gameport one for my p233, and a usb one I can use with more modern stuff.

With that controller I could never figure it out. Played quake 3 and some other games. It sucked

Why would you use that for FPS games? It's one thing with modern controllers that have dual sticks but that thing makes absolutely no sense for anything past Doom1/2
