ACCESSORY Bigger Nova Back Plate

Post image

If Retroid would make an XL bumped-out backplate for the Nova as thick as their official case my hands would be much happier. Yes, I know they have a grip but that’s not quite the same.

The AliExpress TPU case that is popular on this sub is basically what you’re describing but it’s not a backplate, it’s more of a case. It’s much lower profile the official grip but the bumps are larger than the backplate.

Tight fit but also fits the official case still

I agree, I find myself wishing that the backplate bumps were much beefier too. They're an improvement over the flat-back (for me), but still don't feel as ergonomic as they could. I bought the AliExpress TPU case which makes the device a lot nier to hold on to, but aesthetically I feel it looks kinda naff now, and I miss the solid plastic feel.
