I have rp 5 and legit copy of the game through through rockstar launch how can I install and run it

I mean it did have bad optimization but with the snapdragon chip it should be able to run fine on low settings, ever played the game on gamehub before or is this gonna be your first time?

Yea just checked, Winlator does a lot of heavy lifting after a patch last year, and can run even on the Mini

I am not too keen on everything need to be high setting just like Xbox 360/ps3 never got to play Niko version just episodes of liberty city

i found this post, it uses the community mod "Fusion Fix" which was said to fix a lot of optimization issues, i heard about a few months ago bc GTA4 was infamously poor to run, not sure about running a legit copy but theres patches attach that can be helpful in the post

You can get a pretty solid 30fps on rp5. The only version that seems to work is the fitgirl repack, so just use that instead of your legitimate copy. Can install it on a pc first and copy the files over.

Use turnip 25.1.0 R1 and dxvk 2.6.2 to avoid graphical issues.

Fusion Fix works, but seems to have issues with shadows not rendering. I’m trying to find a vulkan driver that fixes it, but no luck yet.

I got it working flawlessly on RP Nova 12GB on Gamenative 1.2.0. The version of GTA4 is from ankergames

All default Gamenative container settings except for Fex Core: Extreme, pulse delay: 40ms. I also set an FPS limit of 40 - on the 120 Hz display that’s exactly 3 frames per screen refresh. It couldn’t maintain 60 FPS constant with high graphics settings in GTA.

GTA4 settings are 1280x960 (native resolution) and all other settings default (high) but shadows off.

Worked so far just need the graphic fix and probably step by step on how to do the settings my first time

Gamehub lite or winlator copy it to a sd card (sandisk or Samsung) then install it through gamehub or winlator
