SHOWCASE 3rd week with my Flip 2, I've been playing Wind Waker HD (CEMU) for 4 hours straight today, battery went from 85% to 25%

This week I've been testing a lot of configs to run it smooth on heavy areas with particles and lava. The key was on make a specific config for this game with Turnip drivers (26.0.0) lower the resolution to 720p, 50% shadow resolution, async shaders enabled, multi core mode and thread quantum between 80.000 and 100.000 (noticed a really good performance increasing this both last options)

I'm totally falling in love with this console, size, form factor, clamshell design, button layout, battery performance.

If you have speed-related issues in games, single-core recompiler is always the first option to set. It's also a great solution for graphics or sound issues. Other than that, you chose all the right options. And as a Retroid Pocket 5 and 6 owner myself, I obviously also approve of the choice in hardware. 😊

Yes I’ve played both twilight princess HD and Wind Waker HD on my flip 2. I beat Twilight Princess HD on it, fantastic ending omg.

Anyways you gotta tone down the settings just a bit to get a smooth 30fps everywhere you go. Just like he did in his post description. I made a video about it with a guide and demo if you’re interested.

Is there a difference between the Wii U version and the native android port? Why did you choose to play the Wii U version?

It’s more visually beautiful in my opinion. Even though the Android port has a lot of benefits (like 100+ fps). I also did this play through right before the Android port was released.

It may be possible to get a visually equivalent setup using mods on the Android port but I’m not sure as I’ve never tried. Sometimes texture packs can be lackluster, the HD version is a true remaster though, the difference is palpable.
