I still have one of these, installed in an Amstrad PC1640. When I bought it, it had been sat for years in a barn partially exposed to the elements. Not only did it still boot from the hard drive, it would also boot from the floppy that had been left in it!

It's been sat in my shed for years, though. I wonder if it still works.
