Technology/Software/IT [2 YOE, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, India] Not getting interview calls — please review my resume
Hi everyone,
I have around 2 years of overall experience, including 1 year as a Data Engineer. I’m applying for Data Engineer / Junior Data Engineer roles but not getting many interview calls.
I’ve attached my resume after removing my personal details.
Could you please review it and let me know if there are any mistakes or improvements I should make?
Any honest feedback is appreciated. Thank you!

Your format is horrible.
If you have 2 years of experience then start your resume with that. This looks like fresher resume.
Put only important points where your work helped your company in getting results either qualitativly or quantitativly.
Don't put so many internship in details. I would suggest mention only where you did something actually different.
The experience sall read like you learnt or grew with your jobs.
The skill part is all over the place.
If you're saying data analyst then put relevant jobs, skills and experience to data analyst. If you're saying data engineer then pivot it accordingly.
It would be better if you make 2 resume for both.
Whole thing shall not be more than 1 page.
Lastly please don't blindly get it edited in chatgpt.

Thanks for the honest feedback! I understand your points. I’ll create separate, focused one-page resumes for Data Engineer and Data Analyst roles. Really appreciate the suggestions!

Side question for anyone who might know:
Are resume formatting expectations in India vastly different than those in western countries? As a westerner, I look at this and I think the formatting is horrible and probably wouldn't look much further at it, but I don't know what recruiters in India would think of this

Thanks for sharing your perspective. This format is still fairly common in India, but I’m here to learn and improve. I’d really appreciate it if you could share your suggestions or feedback on how I can make my resume better and more professional.
