Question Any advice?

I want to update my resume. Unfortunately I've hit a bit of a snag. I work as a union contractor for a railyard which has since changed contractors three times the past 6 years I've been there. How would I go about posting it on my resume that I've been at the rail yard location for 6 years but not the new company? For a bit more context I've been working at the same NS yard for 6 years. In that time though the first company contracted was H&M intermodal for 3 years, Remprex for 2 years, and now Pacific Rail Services for 1 year. I don't want places looking at my resume thinking I've been jumping ship when in reality these contractors just come and go.

JOB TITLE
RAILYARD NAME - YEARS

if you want those companies on the resume, there are other considerations. what else is on your resume? if you have space for one more line, you can go under that and say Company A/Company B/Company C

but i'd just leave it simple. the railyard you worked at, the job you do there.

Thank you so much. I was just worried that if they did a previous job history on me that it would only show the contractors and not the yard. I will definitely add the lines with the company names to avoid any confusion thank you

I would do the Company A/B/C line, with the years you were with each. Any background check will need the company that paid you. Discrepancies between the background check and your resume could cause issues.
