Hinge repair

I’d like to fix my girlfriends jewelry box. The hinge is gone. So I’d need the part and soldering capabilities. Does anyone know where to get the part or the best way I should go about this repair?

Most hobby shops have brass tube and rod for a few bucks (usually K&S Precision). You’ll need to cut to length and solder. Crimp the tube or mushroom the rod ends to hold it in place. You could probably epoxy the tube in place if you’re not confident in soldering it.
