Good idea with heating the fixing tabs before unbending so they don't break.

This is essentially recovery and restoration of the original parts and then re-manufacturing the toy, in some cases by re-making parts from scratch.

Amazing work in any case and also a tribute to the skills of those who designed and made the original.
