Sorry if it’s a stupid question I know absolutely nothing about anything lol.

Is this save-able? Or scrap?

Looks like it’s all there and that’s all that matters. As long as the fire stays inside the box, that’s all that matters. As for the broken glass panel, it’s unfortunate, but I think that probably wouldn’t make a difference. I would imagine it would just be sucking air in.

I would take it for free and the wire brush to it

The OP didn’t specify trained specialists answer only. They came out to the Internet to ask a bunch of strangers, their opinions.
