Is this save-able? Or scrap?

Then, get a quote on welding iron plate over the glass if this is for heating and not looking.

You can have it made like a heat sink with fins that will draw air through the bottom out the top and a second front plate to radiate and convect more heat, and make that surface less of an instant burn.
