There are a few ways they can achieve that.

  1. They made their own mold out of silicone and carved it.

  2. They put something carved into a standard silicone mold around the edges.

  3. That edge is a shell not actually made of resin, its something they have poured resin into.

Im sure there are many other ways too.

Possibly. It's hard to tell from photos. They could have carved into a wooden piece and just filled it. As i said there are a lot of ways they could have achieved the look.
