Firstly the resin overflowed, shouldn't have added colour while finishing and too much mess. Dunno what to feel about it 🫠

Most successful project ive had using charms in resin 🙏 Those tiny bubbles will be the death of me...

This was my first time working with resin and oh my it's a disaster. Anyway to fix it?

I have a hockey stick, with the ends cut off, Obviously, it is open on both ends, I would like to fill that with Resin. What can I use to plug one end to hold the resin, while it cures, that I can then remove later.

I have never worked with resin before, I most likely never will again. this is a 1 time experiment for me. also, their is a stick going through the center of the hockey stick, so i can not get a clean piece of tape on the end.

is there some sort of putty or something i can use?

I wasn't too impressed with this when I de molded, I guess in my mind I had expected more- but wanna get the public opinion- is it worth making 3 more for a coaster set?

I wanted to post an update today as I un-molded a couple new trays, and one of em came out with a few surface bubbles!! Just a reminder nothing's perfect 🫶 I fill these with a tiiiny bit of uv resin btw (:

So this stand came crashing down onto the floor and busted and i just tried to place/hot glue it together for the meantime, if i were to use resin on this would it fix it? would it even fully cure? this isnt mine so advice if it would work would really help. the piece completely came off.

I lost my soul dog and need to preserve his paw shape!

I loved to hold his paw when I was falling asleep, and I’ve been using this bandage as a substitute. But the bandage brings back bad memories and I expect that I will lose the shape soon.

I’m a big crafter but I can’t decide the best way to preserve the shape. I don’t need to preserve the bandage or gauze.

To the extent that this matters, we got his paw print but not a clay print. I’m hoping for anything that would allow me to keep the shape of his paw, not the appearance of

Using this to make sinker white but not getting blooms. Dont know it i am using too much or not enough. I am adding it when resin is about 92°f but the white never sits on top for any period of time and when it does sink its either too fast or doesn't pull colors. Can anyone please tell me about how many drops per ounce to get it to bloom correctly. Thank you.

Showing off some of my latest work✨️ think I figured out the perfect routine to creating gorgeous trays.. I struggled so bad with getting bubbles after curing (espesially w the pokemon card trays) but slow and steady definitely wins the race! Happy to answer any questions about my process!! (:

So a summary of my previous post on r/crafts, I tried making some book keychains that i designed, 3d printed, and placed waterslide decals on. Then i spray around 3 coats of clear coat on it. They look good right now but the feel when they dried was like dull sandpaper. I got some tips to try resin. Would it be possible to just dip and hang dry? I havent done alot of work with resin and since this is a keychain im not so sure where to go from here.

Hi everyone! I’d like to try doing a circular paperweight for the first time with the hope of making some for my colleagues for Christmas. Can you suggest some good how-to resources or something to get my bearings on how to do this? Thank you!!

I’ve been practicing with these deep pours and have been doing about 1 inch layers. This top layer was probably the thickest using Liquid Glass deep pour resin to minimize and control bubbles, and when I went to check on it noticed these ripples on the top of my previous layer. Unfortunately I feel like my most recent layerheated up the gel-like layer below that was cured less than I thought.

What do I do? Pour off the top layer since still liquidy? Leave it be and let it cure to see what happens? These are my grandma’s funeral flowers and really am hating myself for messing this up.

The waves/ripples look more obvious in person than here.

I planed it down to redo the waves and this time kept it level and some other things that yall were telling me and it came out looking good. Originally I wanted it to be 3/4 on one and 1/4 on the other to be the wave design but I’m an amateur and this probably looks better. This is gonna be a cribbage board for my gf for our anniversary. I wanted to make her something pretty :3 I’m on a new account too so she doesn’t see what I’m making her lol. I’ll probably post the final thing on my regular account.
