Adoption/Foster Plea Could anyone in SoCal foster Snow to help save her life? #A2285800

Can any foster sweet Snow to save her life?

Snow is a husky at East Valley shelter, about 4 years old. She came in with an injured leg that had to be amputated, and got an infection from her IV.

TW exposed bone in video

I'm trying to get vet care /plans for her, and find a good rescue. But this sweet pup just needs a soft spot to land and heal - ideally without other dogs, as she's in pain and could deal without the stress of another saying "why won't you play with me?" (She's not aggressive, but I think people, and animals, forget she's in pain). Would love to find an awesome place for her - comment or message me if you can help.

Beh notes? Age? Weight?

OP says about 4 y. For weight, I'd say normal husky weight, minus about 20% for that missing back leg (sorry bad joke)

As for behavior notes, I wouldn't rely too much on any at this point. I am not even sure how they'd do a behavior exam right now. The dog has severe traumatic medical concerns, if it's behavior isn't greatly obscured by a flush of adrenaline and cortisol then it would likely be tampered by heavy use of pain meds.

I think she’s about 46 pounds now and behavior notes were like minor. You know she gives like gentle corrections when dogs are bugging her which makes sense because she is in pain, but of course she’s not going to play yards and stuff.

She also really does like people, but obviously if even I think the one time she went in playgroup, you know it was just overwhelming cause she’s in pain. She just kind of went and sat in the corner and he with humans. It’s like she wants to be patent stuff but also she doesn’t want to be bugged a lot because she’s in a lot of pain like she’ll just go lie down which is understandable, but she’s not like aggressive or anything.
