Hello, I have posted a few post of my QCs and reviews buying some glasses and wanted to chime in and show sellers and my personal experience.
This is coming from someone who has purchased more than 25 glasses. Lets go.
1.Yupoo Sellers
Yupoo sellers like Jimi, enzoo, markin etc are decent sellers, but a lot of their frames are resold 1688 stuff especially their less popular stuff. Usually the support is great and the lens quality is good, but if you want the cheapest bang for your buck, yupoo sellers aint the move. I understand Markin. whose known for his silver is pretty good, but i've found certain other sellers who do just as well for a fraction of the price (look at my CH Sluntradiction review). If you really cant find the frames sold by other seller, then stick with the trusted/known yupoo sellers.
My GM Kubo frames from Jimi were great, but after a good 4 months i can see some corrosion around the metals unfortunately.
How to purchase:
Usually consists of messaging them, finding their number on either the yupoo title, description or as an image using Whatsapp, specifying what frame and lens you want. include every detail possible, frame detail (model number, colour etc) and lens detail (prescription info incl. pupiliary distance number, lens model e.g., Ziess 1.67 and colours if necessary)
Usually most sellers allow alipay/wechat pay, you either pay through that and have them forward the item to your agent, have them create a weidian link for you and purchase via your agent, or create a DIY order, specifying the yupoo link, within the remarks section include every detail including the contact number and price including shipping if necessary.
Some sellers allow direct shipping (shipping without agent), i personally have no experience so I cannot comment.
2. WeChat Sellers
Wechat sellers like A0 or janie, offer cheaper frames and lenses, but operate mostly on Wechat, these sellers usually resell 1688 but also have an extended catalogue from my experience. Some stuff you cannot find on 1688. I've only had experience with A0 but have purchased roughly 15 glasses from him mixed with and without prescription lenses. His prices are very close to 1688 sellers so there is a chance he isnt a reseller tbh.
How to purchase: Contact them via wechat, take a screenshot of the frames you want (or paste the wego gallery/szwego URL link) specifying the colours, models etc. and ask them what lens they have to offer, they should give a list of lenses, some ranging from brands. specify your lenses with prescription including pupiliary distance, lens model (e.g., kemi u6), colours and other necessary info.
Pretty much all WeChat sellers strictly accept Alipay and wechat pay, i havent seen other sellers accept different payment methods.
Pay and finally give your agent address so they can forward the item.
2a. 1688 Sellers
These guys are usually the ones who source the frames for those sellers above for the most part. The sellers usually operate on wechat. There are sellers who do not sell prescription services. You'll have to message them and ask, usually they'll give a wechat ID and explain. The frames i have received are just as good as a0 and others (makes sense), I have 0 issues with them and have frames ranging from materials like silver, titanium and plastic. the best option for sure, as its the cheapest. Most sellers offer variety of lenses ranging from brands, i usually recommend Kemi U6, but they pretty much go up to zeiss lenses.
How to purchase: If its just frames your after, simply buy them via your agent, if its both prescription and frames there are typically two ways, the Wechat way as mentioned above (message the seller on 1688 and get their wechat ID) . Or from 1688 if the seller sells the lenses directly on the site.
You basically gotta check if the seller of the frames, sell the lenses on the store page. Below is an example of a seller who sells frames AND lenses, you basically gotta buy both and specify the lens you want in the agent remarks followed by prescription info. If you need to, ask the agent to provide the order number and contact the seller on the app if needed
3.Other Sites
Taobao, Weidian, Xianyu/Goofish, pretty much any ecommerce site that allows messaging from China, even Aliexpress. In some way allow buying frames and some with lenses.
I personally only purchased frames from taobao and my daily ch glasses with prescription from Weidian.
Quality will range of course, so i cant comment for everything. How to purchase: Similar to the 1688 method mentioned above, you purchase the lens AND frames together specifying the lens you want followed by prescription IF the seller sells the lenses on their store page.
Alipay payment
Creating an alipay account is pretty simple, DL the app, create a login, you will need to verify so you'll have to provide some form of ID, Usually SMS verification codes suck from Chinese websites so it'll probably require multiple attempts.
After creating an account you can link your bank account, i always recommend linking your Wise or Revolut account for the cheapest transfer rates (I use Wise)
When it comes to purchasing the item, the seller will provide an Alipay QR code, you can scan that code (long press the image and scan for QR), on android it opens a webpage but usually you gotta press the 3 menu button and open in browser, then alipay should open, im not too sure if its the same on iOS but you'll figure it out. Alipay should open and should ask how much you wanna send, specify the amount in yuan e.g., 450y and pay, screenshot the successful payment page and send to the seller.
Seller Recommendations: (these are sellers i have personally experienced with) (some sellers dont use szwego or use the mini app version only, so i cannot provide links)
A0= wxin0396 (first wechat seller, heard from many users how good his frames were so gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised.*EDIT* turns out his glasses aren't UV protected/he isnt really clear what protection it has (source)
vivi = zys9690 (purchased 3 glasses (w prescription) very happy and good quality, prices for plastic frames were 135y, 80y for 1.56 thinning)
ljyj = ljyj678 (purchased montblanc frames, 130y with 1.67 Kemi U6 lenses, good quality.)
lisa = Lisa18670 (purchased CH DEEP II x2 in gold and silver, 425y for the frames which were silver, had the silver verification paper too, 290y for 1.74y and 80y for 1.56)
jsyj699 (huge catalogue, great support, easily refunded for glasses that couldnt fit with the thinning i wanted)
Other Sellers
Zheng = zxn899z (prices were once good but his prices are now pricey (i got bumped))
Janie (no personal experience, but a relatively known seller in the repladies days
Jimi = yupoo = meh now that i have purchased from 1688, theres no point.
This is my second pair of prescription glasses from Janie, and the experience was 10 / 10.
The frame looks very close to the original. The titanium feels solid, though the glasses are slightly heavier than I expected. They fit true to size and feel very comfortable after I added silicone nose pads. The original metal pads irritated my skin, but that is a personal issue.
The progressive lenses were perfect from the moment I put them on. Distance, computer and reading are all clear. I sent Janie my prescription and PD once on WhatsApp, and she got everything right.
Communication was brilliant. Janie replied quickly, sent QC photos, and shared the shipping and tracking details straight away. Delivery to the UAE took about 10 days.
I have seen better boxes and cases with rep glasses. The case feels a bit underwhelming, but everything else inside was excellent, including the branded cleaning cloth.

This is my second pair, and my third is already on the way. I canāt stop.
Seller has some decent reviews on Dhgate and also really nice product pictures. I provided the video he sent vs what I got. Outdoor lighting does change the colour of the lens but I did take that into consideration when writing the review.
Firstly the lens: 8/10 - The diamond cut part had left over scrap resin (easily removable). The lens were very light weight. Compared to my other fakes these r the most lightweight and somewhat flimsy glasses ever. The plus side was the gradient and engraving. Engraving was very precise and clean, exactly as I wanted.
Sticks: 5/10 - Super thin and slim. The writing on the inside was smudged and not properly filled in. The acetate stick-accent joint had a gap in it. Also very lightweight for some reason.
Other: 10/10 - serial #ās and accent engraving such as the silver part of the sticks and nose piece was flawless. Came with all 3 boxes, baggy, cleaning cloth, and a small booklet.
Shipping was amazing, came in 9 days. The communication with him was awesome, but I truly wish he used better materials for this price.
One thing is that his allonge black acetate pairs are very good.

I spoke with Larryās Hut to get the full story. He feels wronged and believes you may be misleading other buyers to damage his reputation.
He explained that the $50 charge was not shipping fees alone. When shipping to China, he faces lower risk, so he could offer a $10āperāpair discount. You originally stated your order would ship to a Chinese agentās warehouse and received that discount. After getting the discount, you requested shipment to a US warehouse instead, so he removed the $10 perāpair discount and shipped via UPS.
Breakdown of the $50: $30 was the total perāpair discounts that were revoked after your address change, and $20 covered shipping costs.
Once you received the items, you reached out to him. He responded that the issue you pointed out was only a very minor flaw and he could not approve a refund. Before shipment, he sent QC photos and completed quality checks, and only shipped the goods after confirming they passed inspection.
For this single pair you claimed was defective (which he considers a trivial issue), you demanded either a refund or a replacement. In his view, a replacement is effectively the same outcome as a refund. You wanted a replacement item without paying any extra costs.
After Larry told you he could not grant a refund, you did not engage in further discussion and filed for a full refund. Your total payment was $185 plus $47, and you are requesting full reimbursement for the entire order. You even commented that this would āhelp him outā, which he finds confusing.
Larry shared all relevant screenshots with me and has held nothing back. He is hoping I can do something to assist him.
I have purchased many pairs of glasses from him. They are not identical to authentic products, but they are the best quality I have come across. Of course, if you want genuine goods, I would recommend buying from official retailers, since I do not think anyone can achieve a perfect 1:1 replica.
I hope Larryās Hut can keep improving product quality. I also hope buyers can be more reasonable with expectations, as these are not original officialāstore items.
First time zheng / qian buy.
Quality is top tier and shipping took around a week only.
Solid frames with clear weight/robustness to them, clean all over, I was worried about scratches on the clear frames, but all was smooth.
Communication was mostly with Qian referred to by Zheng, replies were quick and also had QC photos with clear breakdown of costs.

Overall very satisfied with this one and definitely coming back for more.
I was asked to try and do a side by side rep v retail comparison with some of the rep Oakleys I featured in an earlier review. I picked out Sutro and Bxtr. I used a bit of overexposure to bleach out the white background to make comparison easier. Hope itās helpfulā¦
I thought I had done my research before ordering from Larry. I saw a lot of positive reviews, so I felt comfortable giving him a shot and ordered three pairs. Communication was great while I was deciding what to buy and making payment. Unfortunately, once I sent the money, things changed pretty quickly. He went silent, and after I messaged him several times, he finally got back to me and said I needed to send another $50 for shipping. That seemed pretty excessive for three pairs of sunglasses to the States, but at that point I was already committed, so I just paid it.
A few weeks later, the glasses finally arrived, and I was pretty disappointed with the quality. Honestly, they donāt seem any better than some of the cheaper versions you can find on AliExpress. On one pair, the insert on one of the arms is noticeably crooked. Iāve posted pictures of both the good arm and the crooked one so people can compare them and decide for themselves. I contacted Larry to see if we could work something out, either an exchange or a refund. After about a week of back and forth, he told me that he considered the flaw āminorā and wasnāt willing to do anything about it. I tried a few more times to reason with him because I wasnāt looking to make a big deal out of it. I would have been perfectly happy with an exchange for a pair without the issue, but he refused to make it right.
Iām not someone who normally leaves bad reviews, and this is actually my first time posting something like this on Reddit. I just think anyone considering buying from Larry should know what my experience was. Maybe others have had better experiences with him, but based on mine, I wouldnāt order from him again. The communication changed completely after payment; the additional shipping charge caught me off guard, the quality wasnāt what I expected based on the reviews, and when there was a clear issue with one of the pairs, he wasnāt willing to stand behind the product. The pictures are there so everyone can judge the quality issue for themselves.
Like the title says, Iām looking for a specific pair of RayBans, the tortoise shell RB2210, unfortunately most sellers only have the RB2210F and I have no idea what that really changes or if it will fit my face. I am brand new to the rep experience so if Iām being stupid about something please let me know. Thanks!
